Meet the Team

What started as two moms, Jackie and Renee, with an insatiable curiosity for the paranormal quickly grew into something much bigger than just ghost hunting. During a tour at Pennhurst Asylum in November 2020, they connected with their guide, Nic—who soon became like the little brother of the group. Through social media, they later met Troy, who brought his big-brother energy and adventurous spirit to the team.

The team hails from the Greater Philadelphia area and have been featured on My Haunted Manor: USA Season 2 on Youtube, which will also be featured on Amazon Prime in 2026 as part of the My Haunted Project franchise in the UK.

  • What do you love most about paranormal investigating?

What I love most about paranormal investigating is the opportunity to explore new and often historic locations, each with its own unique story to tell. Every investigation feels like stepping into a moment fozen in time; a chance to uncover traces of the past that still linger in the present. There’s something incredibly rewarding about walking through spaces that hold so much history, mystery, and emotion. As a photographer, documenting these locations is especially meaningful to me. I aim to capture not just the physical details of a place, but also its atmosphere, the feeling it evokes, and the subtle energy that makes it special. My goal is to let the photographs tell the story of the location, blending art with evidence. When I’m able to pair a compelling image with potential paranormal activity, it feels like bringing a piece of that unseen world into the light.

What is your favorite paranormal location?

My favorite location will always be Pennhurst State School and Hospital. It was the first location where I had my first true paranormal experience. From the moment I first stepped onto the property, I felt the heavy atmosphere and lingering energy.

What is a common misconception that people have about the paranormal?

Every unexplained event automatically means something supernatural is happening when in reality, (experienced investigators know) that most activity can often be explained by logical or environmental factors such as drafts, electrical issues and so on. The true purpose of paranormal investigation isn’t to prove that every noise or shadow is a ghost, but to find the truth behind the experience.

What is your favorite piece of equipment?

My FAVORITE piece of equipment is my DVR and relying on my own senses (I’m old school).

What are your favorite paranormal books or movies?

My all-time favorite paranormal movies are the Insidious movies. They’re the ones I find myself rewatching time and time again. I love the storytelling and the concept of “The Further,” as well as how the series blends supernatural elements with the psychological tension.

  • What do you love the most about paranormal investigating?

“That it’s a lot like fishing. Some nights you don’t get anything but when when you do catch something, it gives you that little dopamine hit that you’ll keep chasing forever. The surprises and inexplicable things that have happened on investigations will be experiences I’ll treasure the rest of my life.”

    What is your favorite investigation/location?

“I really love My Haunted Manor aka Samuel Miller Mansion, and SK Pierce Haunted Victorian Mansion. Oddly enough, the Lizzie Borden house is the only place that I have recurrent dreams about. I prefer the smaller mansions to larger asylums/hospitals.”

What’s a common misconception people have about the paranormal?

“That just because a location is quiet the one night you are there that it’s not haunted. Ghosts don’t perform on command! Also, investigating is actually really boring - like fishing. TV shows condense hours of footage into 45 minutes and show you the most exciting things. It’s not like that in real life.”

What’s your favorite piece of equipment?

“Audio recorders and my EMF string lights.”

    Favorite paranormal book or movie?

I’m not really big into paranormal or horror movies but I will say my favorite paranormal team is Project Fear. I love their challenges and how they plan out their investigations.

  • What do you love the most about paranormal investigating?

“The opportunity to experience things from another dimension and to find answers to questions that everyone has. I also enjoy the adrenaline rush of being in the dark and not fully knowing what else is there with me.”

    What is your favorite investigation/location?

“My bucket list is and was Pennhurst, but any abandoned asylum or hospital is my favorite atmosphere.

What’s a common misconception people have about the paranormal?

That crazy things happen all the time no matter where you are. That people think things fly around the room and doors slam all the time.”

What’s your favorite piece of equipment?

“My cheap audio recorder. It’s picked up so many EVPs!”

    Favorite paranormal book or movie?

“I really enjoyed reading Paranormal Confessions which is written by the owner of the Bellaire House in Ohio, Kristin Lee. I have not been there yet but hoping we can soon. Host is also a good paranormal movie.”

What’s a common misconception people have about the Paranormal?
